They will eat shrimp, fiddler crab, or a piece of cut bait on a hook. The ray's mouth is underneath, and they eat by "vacuuming" food up off the bottom. In shallow water, they are also fairly easy to "gig" using a 3 or 4 pronged barbed spear head on the end of a long stick. read more
