If the aurora is important to you, pick the right time to go. The best show will be in the end of March or end of September, 2013. If you go now, you only have a 1% chance of seeing it from Tas. Aurora peak with the 11 year sunspot cycle and continue for the following couple of years. The next peak is in 2013. read more
