Is the eastern part of Karnataka a desert?

Eastern Karnataka is on the Deccan Plateau away from any sea it falls in Southern Central Part of India. This region has roughly 50% humidity. And falls in Arid Category. There is severe water shortage sometimes. But it surely is not a desert. read more
