Is the macaw bird legal in India?

They said there is no as such specific law on exotic bird...It should not be wild caught..It should be handbred & owner should take proper care of tge bird with proper caging space ... No doubt, Macaw is a really beautiful bird and everyone would like to keep it. But, The sale of domestically raised macaws is legal however imported, wild-caught parrots are not.
