Robert Pattinson was briefly considered for the role of the Beast. Pattinson played the cursed supernatural man Edward Cullen, in love with a normal girl, in the Twilight Saga film franchise. Edward Cullen and the Beast have been noted by literary critics as having stalker-like tendencies, including imprisoning the women they love. read more
