I’ve never heard of a part of geography being racist. There are parts of many areas whose inhabitants continue to cling to the past. In the case of Riverdale, and many other ‘exclusive’ clusters in and around the trip-state New York area have sought to maintain the status quo in terms of their population (who they will sell houses to). read more

I lived in the Bronx and used to run track in Van Cortlandt Park which is in the Riverdale area of the Bronx or “Da Bronx” as fellow Bronxites like to say. Riverdale was and still is reasonably safer than other parts of the Bronx or New York City. read more
