Is the story in Wicked good?

The novel was wonderful. I've never seen the musical. The reason I enjoyed the novel is because it took the villain from a well known story and turned the tables, telling the story from the perspective of the wicked witch of the west. read more

The storyline in the book is not good, but the storyline in the musical is wonderful. The musical’s storyline focuses mainly on the beautiful friendship found between Elphaba and Glinda. That is the center core of the story. On top of that to add texture, there is the quite complex and fascinating love triangle between Elphaba, Fiyero, and Glinda. read more
