Sue is the nickname given to FMNH PR 2081, which is the largest, most extensive and best preserved Tyrannosaurus rex specimen ever found at over 90% recovered by bulk. It was discovered in August 1990, by Sue Hendrickson, a paleontologist, and was named after her. read more

Tyrannosaurus Rex was one of the biggest carnivorous dinosaurs, but no, Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus is the longest known carnivore (by about 5 ft). Spinosaurus, however, weighed only up to 4 1/2 tons whereas T. Rex weighed up to 7 1/2. read more
