Apathy is not fear. Fear is anxiety, conflict, another words, it causes strong feeling. Apathy, from my perspective is right opposite of feeling anything. It is emptiness of your soul. Yes. People who tend to react with 'freeze' in stead of 'fight' or 'flight' show apathetic behaviour when feeling fear. It's not a conscious choice, but an autonomic reaction. read more
