Crocodiles live in the Northern Territory edge of Australia, which is sparsely populated. Almost all the Australians live far away on the southern and eastern edge. If there were a lot of crocodiles in Sydney, they would probably be a problem. Fortunately there are no crocodiles in Sydney. The biggest problem in Sydney is traffic congestion. read more
Crocodiles are found in northern Australia, from about Rockhampton in Queensland, around the ‘top’ of the continent to the equivalent part of Western Australia. They have been seen further south - I seem to recall that Captain Phillip or one of the other early governors reported one being shot in the Sydney area. read more
