Is there an age limit for learning horse riding?

As far as when a child should start riding, I would think 5 or 6 would be appropriate in a lesson geared towards that age bracket - 20 or so minute lesson, making learning easy and fun. read more

There are plenty of people riding in their 80s, but generally they learned earlier, and get fussier about what horses they get on as they get older as there does seem to be an age limit for getting back up after falls. read more

There's no age limit, but start taking some lessons now. You want to learn on somebody else's horses now, not jump in at the deep end later without hilp, and likely without good judgement on what horse to buy. read more
