Up until a couple of days ago when I turned on my drivers app it would say "this car is not authorized to operate in Daytona", now it comes up like normal and shows a map of the area. I also saw an ad on craigslist from Uber for "event drivers" in Daytona Beach. read more
Daytona Beach police say they ticketed their first Uber driver on Nov. 27 in a city ordinance operation looking for unlicensed vehicles for hire. The driver, who was operating a Chrysler Town & Country, was stopped for failing to obtain and display a permit from the city. read more
