The fifth moon styx s estimated to be irregular in shape and 4.5 miles (7 km) wide. It is in a 59,030-mile (95,000-km) diameter circular orbit around Pluto that is assumed to lie in the same plane as Pluto's other known moons. ( source : Pluto's Moons | Five Satellites of Pluto). read more

No there is not any satellite orbiting pluto. There really would be no point in doing so, and it would take too long with too much money. I believe Voyager 2 went to pluto but is not in orbit. Both Voyager’s are far out of the solar system. read more

As of 2012, there are 4 known natural satellites (moons) of Pluto. Charon was discovered in 1978, Nix and Hydra in 2005, and the fourth moon, provisionally called S/2011P1, was found in 2011. Charon's diameter is over half that of Pluto, and the Pluto-Charon pair actually represent a co-orbiting binary system. read more

The collision threw out material that coalesced into the family of satellites orbiting Pluto. New Horizons found that the four moons were surprisingly chaotic. Hydra is the fastest-rotating, spinning once every 10 hours during its 38-day orbit of Pluto, or 89 times every orbit. read more
