PS - there's not actually such a thing as mild narcolepsy - symptoms for individuals often change over time. And yes, I have narcolepsy and went undiagnosed for about 13 years. read more
It sounds like you have a range of sleep disorders, and narcolepsy could definitely be one of them. The good thing is that not only do you recognize that something is wrong, but you are going to the doctor to address it. In the meantime, I suggest you keep a little health and sleep diary. read more
