Diamond is harder than titanium but not tougher or stronger. No metal has higher strength/weight ratio than titanium. You can shatter a diamond with a bullet/blunt object with a medium amount of force. A bullet/blunt object would not make a single imprint on Titanium. For proof watch the video at the related link.
