Wild animals make very poor pets. There are many states, counties and cities in which keeping an exotic animal is illegal. Period. Before you even think about getting one, you should see if there is a vet within reach that is willing to learn how to treat one. read more

I am assuming that anteaters are considered exotic & every state in US has different type of exotic pet laws. Over in Singapore, where i stay, it’s definitely not legal. Though the ideal of having anteaters as pets seem to be trending these days. read more
