The North Pole is located in the middle of the Arctic Ocean. It is frozen over for the most part, and that ice is constantly shifting on the ocean currents. Therefore there is no way to actually live there, as any habitation you built at the pole would drift away from the pole and, in time, probably sink as the ice it was built on melted. read more
