Hydrogenated--not hydrogen--oils are liquid oils that are emulsified with hydrogen to create a solid state. Not all hydrogenated oils have "trans fats". Partially hydrogenated oils hold the distinction of having the most trans fat. The process of hydrogenation creates the trans fat, so the two are not one in the same. read more
