the only possibility is China, like Russia in 1990s, goes into huge crisis itself for some reason. At that moment, Tibet has a chance to achieve independence. Just a chance, not a certainty. I don’t need to remind you that Chechnya failed in last century in the case of Russia. read more

The ROC government had no effective control over Tibet from 1912 to 1951; however, in the opinion of the Chinese government, this condition does not represent Tibet's independence as many other parts of China also enjoyed de facto independence when the Chinese nation was torn by warlordism, Japanese invasion, and civil war. read more
