Should I commute to UCLA from UCI?

there are several vanpool options from OC to UCLA runs daily, but they usually depart from irvine around 5-5:30am from irvine and leave from ucla 3-4pm. In the morning it usually takes 1 hour to arrive at ucla but the afternoon ride can range anywhere from 2-3hours long. read more

I too am from Orange County and went to UCLA but took many summer courses at UCI and completed post bac work at UCI after graduating. In terms of academics, UCI and UCLA are very similar. The science majors are highly impacted, impersonal and very competitive. read more
