I too had a phobia of sharks. I saw "Jaws" at a young age and soon became very distrustful of the ocean. The best way to conquer a fear is to confront that fear. I fell into scuba diving by mere coincidence. I've seen sharks on numerous open water ocean dives. My experience has been pleasant with them. Some of them seem curious at best. read more
