Should I go to UCLA or CAL for astrophysics?

No contest. UCLA is an excellent school, but Cal is much, much better in Physics esp both Astrophysics and High Energy. Also the Physics program at Cal runs like a small school on its own. I was so pleasantly surprised when I had an advisor who knew my name, saw every semester and seemed to care about me. read more
If you were an engineer I would recommend you go to Cal, but I can't see a major reason anyone wanting to pursue a career in entertainment would choose Berkeley over UCLA other than possibly personal fit. read more
