The Original Battlestar Galactica unabashedly Plagiarized just about Every top SF Writer of the time as well as writers whose work bore litttle relation to Science at all. In addition, there were charges that they had copied large chunks of Story from various Movies, including Star Wars. read more

Definitely watch the 2003 Battlestar Galactica mini series first. The first real season began in 2005 and it picks up exactly where the mini series leaves off. Also I think the mini series sound quality is a little bad compared to the rest of the show. read more
