Should school bus drivers carry guns on them to stop violence?

I can't imagine the uproar and lawsuits that would occur if parents found out a bus driver was carrying while driving their “little angels” around. Schools over-react to students imitating “gun behavior” and have ridiculous zero-tolerance policies, so I doubt allowing a bus driver to have one wouldn't work. read more

According to a 2017 Pew study, 55 percent of adults are against allowing teachers and officials to carry guns in schools. In fact, all the major teacher, principal, school employee and security organizations oppose guns in schools, except when carried by a police or security officer. read more

They are teachers, janitors, coaches, principals, food-service workers and bus drivers. They are people who already have concealed carry permits and have made a decision to carry a firearm to protect themselves and their families outside of school. read more
