The Arabian Peninsula is not considered to be a Continent. There are only 6–7 continents (depending on if Europe and Asia are separate or combined into Eurasia). Continents are defined both by geologic and sociopolitical divisions (the combination of these factors is what makes Geography so interesting). read more

Technically they are part of the same continental plate, the Eurasian plate, so they should be called the continent of Eurasia, to be strictly correct. Arabia (which I guess is what you mean by the middle east peninsula) is on its own continental plate, as is India. read more
