To all sworn in LEOs, what do you think of Police Explorers?

Hello, I figure that I would try to make my first post an intelligent one so here are some tips for new explorers. Anyone feel free to add on as they please. -Maintain integrity while in (and out) the public eye, in and out of your issued uniform given to you by your post. -Never, ever, call yourself the police. read more

Our Explorers were a mixed bag. Some were genuinely attracted to police work, and more than a few became police officers or dispatchers. Depending on the perspective, our cops called them Explorers, Future Felons of America, or Baby Badges. read more

I think it's funny you take offense to a generalized statement (ie a few security guys ruin it for all security) and yet you want to get into Law Enforcement, in which that happens all the time. One officer uses excessive force, the public preceives it as law enforcement as a whole. read more
