During his eight year presidency, Truman dropped atomic bombs on Japanese civilians, brought about the creation of Israel, entered the Korean War, began the Cold War, and created the CIA with a mandate for foreign intervention and assassination. read more

Harry S. Truman made the decision to drop the atomic bomb on Japan, which in my opinion, was a good idea. He also lead the US through the icky post WWII world. The Marshall Plan which gave financial aid to all countries who fought in WWII, regardless of what side they are on. read more
