It's not about Lenin being a German agent, nobody believes that. It's about German aid to the Bolsheviks. The comparisons to Ireland (and later Afghanistan, ISIS) are all about aid in the form of guns. In the case of the Bolsheviks nobody claims that the Germans supplied them with arms. That's a distinction worth making. read more
