I would not necessarily say that Liszt was an all-around better pianist than Chopin. Liszt’s pianism was certainly more famous and more sought after. However, Chopin played the piano in a subtle manner. From a technical standpoint, Liszt was the better pianist. read more
Liszt is too difficult for most people to play on the piano and Chopin has the same emotion and is possible for most people to play on the piano. Yet, I do know that Chopin was technically not a good pianist. read more
