Rhodesia was better under white rule, but Zimbabwe wasn't. The same can be said about any other colonised nation. Pre-independence, it benefitted the colonisers. Post-independence, it benefits the majority (in most cases). Whether or not it benefits the nation is, I think, somewhat irrelevant. read more
