Anubis did have a consort - or at least, a female version of him - named Anput. He also had a daughter with her called Kebechet. She is the goddess of embalming liquid. Bast, however, is generally believed to have been married, or at least paired, with Bes, the dwarf God and an equally as popular household deity. read more
There were no known stories of Bastet and Anubis together. Bastet was the daughter of Ra, and the sister of the roaring lioness Sekhmet. Around 2800 BCE she was portrayed as a lioness or wild desert cat, and by 1000 BCE she was depicted as the goddess of domesticated cat. read more
