Were Stalingrad and Midway the 2 defining battles of WW2?

I would agree that Stalingrad was the #1 defining battle of WW2, but wouldn't say that the Battle of Midway was #2 unless you were selecting one from each theater ( Europe & Pacific ) Then it would be correct to say that Midway was the Defining Battle of WW2. read more
