Two of my favourite books on the Phoenicians are actually written by an Italian archeologist, Sabatino Moscati. They are 'The Phoenicians' and 'The World of the Phoenicians' with the latter being a bit dated by now I guess. There is an Itialian language 'I fenici' ,I assume that's the same book. read more
