I know they showed emotional and physical child abuse in the version with Sally Field, SYBIL. I'd say MRS. DOUBTFIRE qualifies because the mother was not letting the kids see the Dad to punish Dad but didn't see how it was hurting the kids. GREAT EXPECTATIONS had emotional abuse. read more
