If you're a sailor you may have a very long time away from loved ones and life on earth in general, living in small spaces; but I can't speak for them. If you're an ocean researcher you may love being at sea doing experiments but it is usually short term so conditions are not so bad unless you find yourself in the Arctic or in the middle of an unexpected storm. read more
