I lived in lyon just for 2.5 months. It feels really great to be in Lyon. People are nicer, friendlier and full of life as compared to Paris. Also, The city is much much cleaner than other major cities of France. People will be either playing snooker, jumping or crying while watching football match or will be partying and dancing even in normal bars. read more

In Lyon, for the most part people are outgoing and friendly. The advantage of Lyon is that it is a big city (for France) so it has all the advantages you could find in a city like Paris but many of the drawbacks are not present here. read more
