I've lived in Denver since 2003, except for a rather brief stint in 1973 to 1974. I'm a Native, but only by birth. Moved to fix that, though the US's stupid politics may mean I become a transplanted Vancouverite or Torontonian in the near future. Denver is a wonderful place to live. read more

Front range congestion and associated rush-hour traffic, traffic of I-70 west of Denver during ski season, I-25 traffic during rush hours from Colorado Springs all the way up to Ft. Collins, poor public transportation (mostly buses, some light rail), an infrastructure that is struggling to keep up with the growing population, too many people, rising cost of housing. read more

Sounds like you just don't know your way around or live in literally the most uninhabitable part of Tennessee ever. Also in Colorado there's all the shootings to think about. All that nothingness drives white people crazy. read more

we lived in san francisco for four years and have to attest the food in denver totally trumps boulder. i am so sick of the “gastro pub” shit rampant in boulder and imo, the “good” restaurants in boulder are three stars in SF on Yelp (Oak is the only one that competes and similar to NOPA for those familiar). denver is much more diverse and offers an experience more of what we were used to in northern california. read more
