What are some good hairstyles for dance practice?

I like some tight French or Dutch braid. If you're doing ballet, I guess the norm is to put your hair up in a bun. But I personally find bun needs more tools to be made tight enough to last an entire dance session with lots of turns and jumps. read more

A ponytail, a bun and if you have short hair; just a hair band or bandanna around your head would do. The lesser distraction you have with your hair or anything, the better you can concentrate on practicing. Just Dance baby! When you dance you don't need anything else to look beautiful. read more
