The Journeyer by Gary Jennings. I first read this book in my late teens and recently re-read it in my thirties, and it has aged really well. The pulpy violence, sex, and grittiness is as superfluous as ever. I would defy anyone to suggest a better fictional read on Marco Polo than The Journeyer. read more
