One of the many things I love about Maryland are the mountains. I live in the Potomac River Valley which is located between two mountain ranges,Appalachian & what we residents call South Mountain. Sideling Hill near Cumberland is an engineering marvel of highways that cuts right through the Appalachian mountains. read more
