What are some opinions about the Yamaha XSR700?

I’d venture to suggest that the XSR700 is an okay starter bike, but perhaps more of an intermediate level machine. It’s physically bigger and more powerful than any of the 250/300/400s out there, and more ahead than any of the Honda 500 range. read more

In a country with proper testing requirements for a motorcycle licence, such as the UK, the XSR700 is a perfect first bike. The bike school you would have been taught at, would have most likely used a similar motorcycle for tuition. read more
