Catholicism really likes pilgrimage: there are pilgrimages to the Vatican and other sites in Rome, retracing the journeys of Paul, to every major Marian apparition: Fatima, Lourdes, Guadalupe, Knock, Walsingham, etc., to the tombs of the Apostles particularly St James in Compostela, in the US to the national basilica in DC. read more
