The best rubies come from Burma and are the pigeon blood red color. I've seen some really nice African rubies too but they tend to have a pinkish undertone to them. You can call higher end jewelry stores to find the name of a ruby dealer, check with someone who cuts gemstones or Google ruby dealers to find one near you. read more
