If you grease your bearings with white lithium grease they are waterproof, however I think their roll speed is less. The best thing to do is to get some Zealous bearings which are mostly waterproof to begin with (though I have completely submerged some that did eventually rust), and have special lubricant which makes roll great and last forever. read more
