There are some so-called LEGO clones such as Kre-O, MegaBloks, etc. They are similar shapes and sizes (and in fact, usually compatible with LEGO), but they may not always be perfect snug fits. read more

They're lower quality than LEGO, but still work pretty well. There are other things, too, like Best-Lock, or some knock-off Chinese brands, but these are very low quality.
