What are the characteristics of today's teenagers?

We're all super connected to online culture. Everyone I've met that is in the 13–18 age range is familiar with the following acronyms: lol; lmao; rofl; brb. There are others. My personal feeling is that we shouldn't regard teenagers as a species apart. They're as different as any other age group are from one another. So their only common characteristic is an age bracket. read more
