Differences between the two species: The Borg retain more of their organic parts; recent Cybermen are shown to be nothing but organic brains encased in robotic human-shaped armour. Even earlier Cybermen (1960s - 1980s) were mostly machine, excepting the very first ones in The Tenth Planet. read more
