What are the differences between Santo Domingo and Punta Cana?

Santo Domingo is the capital of the Dominican Republic and Punta Cana is a beach resort town in the East of the country, roughly 200 kms away. Check it in Google maps. read more

We stayed in Santo Domingo before and did tourist attractions within two days. Also the beach was pretty far, we relied on taking unofficial vans to shuttle buses to get to Boca Chica. read more
