Good neighborhoods are mostly located at East, southeast and northeast of Caracas, that includes places as Chacao, Altamira, Los Palos Grandes, Las Mercedes, El Hatillo which are the most visited because of the restaurants, night clubs and shopping malls. read more

Well, even good neighborhoods in Valencia can be dangerous, as violent crime is prevalent everywhere. The best neighborhoods in the city I would say are the following: El Trigal/La Trigaleña; Guataparo (though it is quite remote) El Bosque; El Viñedo/ La Viña; Prebo; Mañongo; I would steer clear of everywhere else. read more
