What are the good and bad neighborhoods of Cologne, Germany?

One of the things I like most about Cologne, is that there aren’t any really bad neighborhoods. Most people will advise you to stay out of Chorweiler and the area around the “Kölnberg” in Meschenich, but I’ve never really been there to give you any first hand impressions (they’re both rather remote to the city center). read more

Good family friendly areas would be Sülz, Klettenberg, Lindenthal, or Südstadt, Rodenkirchen, Bayenthal. Sülz and Klettenberg as well as Rodenkirchen and Bayenthal have direkt subway lines to Bonn respectively. read more
